Using the CityStateFinder gives a (503) server unavailable error.

    Hi there,

I just ran your online demo of CityStateFinder and and got back a (503) server unavailable page error.Could the ip of the UPS XML web server have chnaged or the web service no longer available? I'm trying to use it in an application that Iam developing and found that it was freezing up the page that I was using it on.

Any help in identifying the issue would be helpful.

    Thanks

    mzz

I just tried the demo and it seems to work fine.  This may have just been a slip in the system over at USPS.  It's always good to have error trapping and timeouts in place on things like this.  I recommend using Thread.Join to give the web service a few seconds to respond and wrapping the whole thing in good error management.
